Made for the part you forget.
Skin Memory is a personal skincare memory. It exists because the most useful facts about your skin are the ones that are easiest to forget.
People remember that their skin changed. They often don’t remember enough about the weeks around that change.
You try something new. Two weeks later there is a dry patch, or a breakout, or nothing at all. By the time you wonder about it, the start date is a guess, the other products have blurred together, and the only thing left is a feeling.
Skin Memory exists to close that gap, and nothing more. It keeps the sequence of what you used and what you noticed, in your own words and with your own dates.
What was I using? When did I start it? What else was different? Did it come back after I stopped?
Focused, on purpose.
A memory
Products, changes and notes, kept in order. That is the whole product.
Not a diagnosis
It does not assess your skin, or tell you what a change means.
Not a routine generator
It will not recommend products or build you a plan. Your routine is yours.
Not a score
No rating, no grade, no face scan. Your skin is not a number.
A few habits we keep to.
- Say lessClaim only what is true.
If the app cannot do something, this site does not say it can. Where something is a habit rather than a feature, we say that too.
- Stay in our laneRecord. Don’t interpret.
The product organises what you tell it. It does not read meaning into it, and it does not pretend to be a clinician.
- Be plainWrite like a person.
Short sentences, ordinary words, and the same disclaimer wherever it matters, in exactly the same wording.
Independent, and careful.
Skin Memory is an independent project, built carefully. It is not backed by, or reviewed by, any clinical body, and it does not claim to be.
