Before you install

Four things worth knowing.

  • Android only, for now

    Skin Memory is available as an Android app. There is no iOS or web version at the moment.

  • No account needed

    Your record starts on your phone. An account is optional, and only needed if you want your shelf and changes to follow you to a new phone.

  • It is a record, not a clinician

    The app does not diagnose or recommend. If something concerns you, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

  • Your record is exportable

    Export a file and a readable timeline from the Profile tab, any time.

Installing

Installing takes six steps.

  1. Download the APK.Use the button above.
  2. Open the downloaded file.From your notifications, or from the Downloads folder.
  3. Follow Android's installation prompts.Android walks you through it.
  4. If Android asks to install from that source, allow it.Android asks this for any app that does not come from a store. You can turn it off again afterwards.
  5. Install Skin Memory.It takes a moment.
  6. Open the app.Then see below for what you will meet first.

Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser or file manager. That setting is Android’s, and you can turn it off again afterwards.

  • Skip the account

    Choose “Skip for now” and your record stays on your device. Under 16? You can still use the app without one.

  • Tell it a little, or nothing

    A name, a skin type, and up to three goals, which you can skip. Then add your first product, or don't yet.
